Continuing Education is important to care of children. Cornerstone Christian Nannies believes that Nannies who continue professional development possess  far  better child caring skills than those who do not.  To this end, Cornerstone Christian Nannies provides a variety of services to encourage, promote and enhance our Nannies professionalism.  We offer quarterly training, annual conferences, as well as a Nanny support group.

Cornerstone Christian Nannies

                        Professional Development Activities:

We support regular Nanny development though various activities to train, educate, and support Nannies through the following:

Quarterly Training - February, May, August, November
Each quarter we provide training on a variety of topics which Nannies have indicated their interest or are appropriate for professionalism.
 
Annual Picnic & Conference - September
Each September, in conjunction with National Nanny Week, Cornerstone Christian Nannies promotes professionalism  through an annual picnic and conference developed to support, educate and promote professionalism in Nannies.
 
Nanny - 2 - Nanny Support Association
Nanny support group for all Nannies.  Meetings are monthly at various locations in the city.
 
Nanny Academy (opening 9/2006)
Often we hear, "how do I become a Nanny?".  In the past there has not been any specific training for Nannies.  Cornerstone Christian Nannies is now planning to meet this need.  In this academy, potential Nannies will learn how to meet the developmental needs of the children in their care while understanding what the parents will expect from them as employees.
